Wood Destroying Organism
(does not include structural report)
A thorough inspection looks for visible
evidence of wood destroying organisms in all unobstructed
and accessible areas of the structure. By searching from the
crawl space to the attic, we look for live termites,
carpenter ants and other WDO; evidence of their presence,
such as nests, exit holes or dead insects; and damage from
their activities.
This inspection also identifies all conducive conditions for
wood destroying organisms, such as wood-soil contact, shrubs
in contact with siding, roof or plumbing leaks, etc.
A structural inspection report is not included in the WDO
inspection.
